- 1 cup of espresso
- 250 ml of milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
- 1 tablespoon caramel sauce/caramel topping for garnish

Preparation
Prepare the espresso (1 cup).
Whip the milk until it forms a thick foam.
Pour the vanilla syrup into the bottom of the cup.
Add the milk foam to the cup, on top of the vanilla.
Pour the espresso into the center of the foam, to create the classic “macchia” (macchiatura).
Finish with a drizzle of caramel sauce over the foam
